Water Treatment. Our water is sourced from the municipal supply, which draws from the Waitakere and Hunua Ranges, along with the mighty Waikato River.  All production water is carbon filtered and UV Sterilised, however softening and burtonisation is also available if the customer requires.

Mash Tun in the foreground, Lauter Tun behind it with stairs leading to the top of the Kettle.  All heat elements powered by high pressure steam jackets.

Six-head Zalkin ROPP capping machine to the left. The 30 head Holstein und Kappert Filler and crowner on the right was built in the seventies from recycled tanks in the heart of the Ruhrgebeit, ie built like a brick s@*t-house.

Just filled cider bottles having their pressure slowly released before being immediately crowned.

Our labeling machine, with it’s view down the packaging hall. Wrapped pallets of bottles await to be filled at the end of the warehouse.

Right:

After filling, crowning, pasteurization, drying and labeling, the bottles whizz down to the box sealing machine at 180 bottles per minute.

High-pressure steam Kettle, boiling a batch of Blue Goose Lager. Here is where we add most of our hops for bitterness, flavour and aroma. Boiling also aids clarity and stability of the final product.
